PURPOSE OF THIS LICENSE
This Business Music License ("Agreement") grants commercial establishments the right to publicly perform and broadcast music from the Lamb Music Works catalog within their licensed premises. This license is required for any business that plays Lamb Music Works recordings in a public-facing environment including cafés, restaurants, retail stores, salons, spas, gyms, and creative studios.
WHAT IS COVERED
This license covers: • Public performance of purchased Lamb Music Works albums, playlists, or catalog selections • Background music use in a single licensed location • Continuous or intermittent playback via digital devices, sound systems, or streaming This license does NOT cover: • Live performance or cover of songs • Re-broadcasting or streaming to external audiences • Use in multiple locations (each location requires a separate license) • Synchronization with video content (requires a separate sync license)
LICENSE TIERS
Single Location Annual License: Covers one physical business address for 12 months. Multi-Location: Contact us for custom pricing covering multiple venues. Event/Temporary Use: Available for events, pop-ups, and short-term activations.
PRO COMPLIANCE
This license covers the master recording rights owned by Lamb Music Works. Businesses are independently responsible for maintaining compliance with their performing rights organization (PRO) — such as ASCAP, BMI, or SESAC — for the songwriter and publisher performance royalties. Lamb Music Works does not collect or remit PRO fees on behalf of licensees.
PROHIBITED USES
Licensee may not: • Share, sublicense, or transfer this license to another party • Use the music in online broadcasts, livestreams, or podcasts • Claim any ownership of the music • Alter, remix, or edit the recordings without written consent
TERM & RENEWAL
Licenses are issued on an annual basis and must be renewed to remain in compliance. Lamb Music Works will provide renewal reminders via email. Continued use after license expiry without renewal constitutes infringement.
GOVERNING LAW
This Agreement is governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes shall be handled in Los Angeles County, CA.
